What makes cold-processed soap different from regular soap?

Cold-processed soap is made at low temperatures to preserve the natural benefits of oils and butters. Unlike commercial soaps that contain synthetic detergents, our bars retain naturally formed glycerin, which helps keep your skin soft and moisturized.
Are your soaps chemical-free?

Our soaps are free from harsh detergents like SLS/SLES, parabens, silicones, and synthetic fillers. We use purposeful ingredients only - plant oils, butters, clays, botanicals, and safe fragrance or essential oils.
Is this soap suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes. Our soaps are made using the traditional cold process method with skin-nourishing oils and no harsh detergents (like SLS/SLES). They are gentle, moisturizing, and suitable for most skin types, including sensitive skin.

However, we always recommend a patch test if you have highly reactive skin.
How long does one bar last?

With daily use, an Avira soap bar typically lasts between 4 to 6 weeks. To extend its life, store the bar on a well-draining soap dish and keep it away from direct water spray when not in use.
When will I start seeing visible results?

Most people notice softer, calmer skin within the first week. For more visible results - like fading tan, reduced breakouts, or restored glow - consistent daily use over 3 to 4 weeks is when the change becomes clearly noticeable.
Can I use Avira soaps on my face?

Yes. Avira soaps are gentle enough for daily use on both face and body. If your facial skin is particularly sensitive or reactive, we recommend easing in gradually and observing how your skin responds.
How should I store the soap to make it last longer?

Keep your soap on a well-draining soap dish in a dry area, away from direct water spray. Letting the bar air-dry between uses helps it retain its shape, scent, and longevity.
Are Avira soaps cruelty-free and vegetarian?

All Avira soaps are cruelty-free - never tested on animals. Most of our soaps are vegetarian; the Goat Milk and Charcoal × Goatmilk soaps contain ethically sourced raw goat milk.
Why does my soap look slightly different from the photos?

Since every bar is handmade in small batches, slight variations in colour, pattern, or texture are completely natural. It's part of what makes each bar uniquely Avira.
Can I use multiple Avira soaps in my routine?

Yes. Many of our customers rotate between bars depending on the day, the weather, and their skin's needs. For example, the Activated Charcoal Soap works well on humid days, while the Coconut Comfort Soap is ideal for dry, winter mornings.
